How to be a Winning Parent

How to be a Winning Parent...

Let your kids own their sport - be a supporter, a fan and the bill payer!! We can't thank you enough for all that you do to support our athletes - but, please, just do that. No need to solve the world's problems at the bottom of the course/venue. Nothing will ever be perfect in freestyle or the world - except your child!!

FAQ's for Parents

Eastern Freestyle-Freeskiing – Frequently Asked Questions.

This FAQ was designed by a parent to help educate parents in freestyle and freeskiing ski competition in the East.  The focus is on ease of use and brevity (with some levity) and is not meant to be comprehensive.  It tries to interpret but has no official authority over the FIS - International Ski Federation Freestyle Rules, USSA Freestyle Competition Guide or the Eastern Division Rules.  The FAQs should be considered a “live document” which will be modified and augmented based on input from Eastern Freestyle-Freeskiing members.  Please send additional FAQs or comments to thachpham@comcast.net and we will do our best to respond and, if deemed appropriate, add to the FAQs.

Having said that, all parents should read the Eastern Freestyle Community Handbook.

Also, make sure you sign up for email notices from Eastern Freestyle-Freeskiing to keep abreast of events and developments in Eastern Freestyle-Freeskiing.
