Sugarloaf A Event Update
The Sugarloaf crew is gearing up for their A Opener this weekend. The course is set to be seeded this evening, jumps will be built on Wednesday and the course will be ready for training on Friday. Friday's training tickets are $30 at the competition center. All Eastern A competitors are reminded to bring their Eastern bibs for the event. Bibs are provided for all new A skiers. Last year's bibs can be replaced if you produce a tattered one. Later today check the jump qualification list to be sure everyone's jumps are listed. (I am trying to get to it!!!
ECS Sugarloaf Opener postponed
Due to the weather forecast (rain then COLD temps) Sugarloaf mountain management feels that it would not be prudent to bring everyone up to the Loaf this weekend. Therefore, they are rescheduling the event to Jan 3 and 4.
The Sugarloaf reservation department has been alerted to the re-scheduling of the Greg Francoeur Memorial Mogul Event to January 3rd and 4th and a block of condominiums has been reserved for the January competition. To change a reservation, people need to call the Sugarloaf reservations department at (207) 237-2000 and identify themselves as freestyle competitors. The reservations department will work with you to change your reservation or if you wish, refund your money. Competitors are encouraged to make their reservations as soon as possible, as January 3rd and 4th are during the busy Holiday Vacation week.
